HAVE YOUR SAY ON ROAD UPGRADES IN WARRAGUL AND DROUIN

The Andrews Labor Government is asking residents, businesses and industry in Warragul and Drouin to have their say on potential local road upgrades.
Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing today announced information sessions will be held in Warragul and Drouin in December, as part of the Labor Government’s project to investigate the future needs of the towns.
The project will include a comprehensive traffic study, development of concept designs for proposed intersection and/or route upgrades, as well as environmental, cultural heritage and economic studies.
VicRoads is working closely with Baw Baw Shire Council on this important study and community feedback will assist in the development of a business cases to explore future upgrades.
A stakeholder and community reference group has also been established, which includes representatives from community groups, emergency services, the freight industry and local businesses.
