EXTRA SHELTER FOR TRARALGON BUS PASSENGERS

The Andrews Labor Government will install an extra bus shelter for Traralgon passengers at Cross’s Road, so residents can wait for their next bus in comfort.
Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing today welcomed the extra shelter as part of the Labor Government’s Road and Rail Minor Works Program, taking the number of new shelters being rolled out across Traralgon to ten.
The shelters will improve comfort and accessibility for students, families and residents attending nearby schools and the local Salvation Army community facility.
New bus shelters are being installed across Traralgon on Hunter Road, Park Lane, Liddiard Road, Princes Highway near Franklin Street, Ray Street, Princes Highway near Washington Street, Gwalia Street near Liddiard Road, Gwalia Street near Peterkin Street and Henry Street.
Once designs are finalised, construction works will begin in early 2018.
