GRANT TO BRING THE BEST OF THE ARTS TO LAKES ENTRANCE

Lakes Entrance will play host to an exciting new performance at Frouteville 2018 thanks to the Andrews Labor Government’s Small Regional Presenters program.
Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing today congratulated F.INC East Gippsland Inc which has received support to attract eight-piece musical act Galata Express.
The Turkish Gypsy ensemble will perform at the Frouteville 2018 festival on 3 March.
In addition to performances, Galata Express will present a music demonstration with a hands-on experience for locals.
F.INC East Gippsland Inc is one of 16 regional presenters to share in grants worth almost $118,00.
The Small Regional Presenters program was launched in 2016 to increase the quality and variety of cultural opportunities in small regional towns.
Grants of between $1,500 and $15,000 are available to support local festivals and programs. The next round will close on 15 March 2018 for shows taking place from 1 June 2018 onwards. For more, visit creative.vic.gov.au
