NEW GRANTS TO IMPROVE MULTICULTURAL COMMUNITY FACILITIES IN GIPPSLAND
Tuesday, 26 June 2018
Gippsland’s multicultural communities will be able to build new community facilities and improve existing spaces thanks to a new round of grants from the Andrews Labor Government.
The 2018-19 Multicultural Community Infrastructure Fund will provide $9.5 million towards improving and establishing facilities that support culturally diverse Victorians to participate and contribute to society while remaining connected to their cultural heritage and traditions.
Applications are open and communities are invited to apply for projects that build new facilities, improve or restore existing infrastructure, or increase security or accessibility for communities.
Community groups, organisations and associations in Gippsland are encouraged to apply for funding that support projects commencing in the 2018-19 financial year.
Applications and expressions of interest can be submitted at any time allowing organisations to undertake sufficient planning of their projects.
