The Victoria Remembers Major Grant Program helps communities make personal connections with the Centenary of World War One, and assists projects or activities that commemorate other wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations in which Victorians have served.
The Anzac Centenary Community Grants Program commemorates World War I veterans and informs their communities about the experiences of WWI veterans. Projects include new memorials, one-off community events, community education projects and the preservation of local WWI history. This is the final round of this grant program.
The Restoring Community War Memorials and Avenues of Honour Grant Program supports communities in Victoria to ensure local war memorials, honour rolls and avenues of honour are restored to their original condition or improved to reflect the service history of the local community.

“I’m delighted that local projects just like these in our communities across Gippsland will be able to teach more people about our war-related heritage and the stories of the brave women and men who have given so much, so often at a huge cost to themselves.”
